Do you want the woods, a field, river bluff cliffs, or lakeside? The upper Midwest has so many different landscapes to offer.
Some favorite locations of mine are:
- Interstate State Park, both the Wisconsin side & Minnesota side are great locations if you like a good mix of river bluffs and woods.
- Palisade Head, MN. Iconic, amazing views, and near Black Beach which is another gorgeous location.
- Lester Park, Duluth, MN. Almost feels like you left the city.
- Willow River State Park, WI. Gorgeous waterfalls and scenery.
- Wild River State Park, MN. Has a gorgeous lookout spot that’s perfect for sunsets.
